Next Destination... Salt Lake City!

It has been 43 days since I moved from Orange County to Provo to live with my sister and be closer to my big man. So far I do not have a job, but I'm not losing hope!

Tomorrow I officially move to Salt Lake City in a house in David's ward. I'm only going to be a couple minutes away every day. I know I must sound like a silly girl in love... but I kind of am I guess.

Here is a picture of how close I will be:

Also, David and I will be buying one of our favorite movies that comes out tomorrow... Night at the Museum 2!

We will buy it and watch it immediately. I suggest you do the same!!

I'm such a happy girl :)

Acclimating

About once a week I go out for a short 2 mile run around the neighborhood to mix things up. Ever since I got here I've had to stop and cough up a lung every time to get the mountain air out. Well, today I was finally able to run it all without stopping and when I got back I wasn't even coughing! My body must be adjusting to Utah... finally. I'll probably try the run again but I'm not getting my hopes up that I'll be able to do it again because knowing my body it was just tricking me into thinking I'm safe.

It was a successful day!

(I also made fondue that was enjoyed across the board at home...mmmmmmmm)

In Utah, not of Utah

I have arrived to Utah safely. Its been almost 2 weeks since i've been here and its been a wonderful ride. My mom and I drove out to the Nevada border from Bjorn's house in Murrieta sunday night and stayed at one of those big hotel casinos there. Nevada makes me sick. Monday morning we got up early and were both eager to get out of Nevada. Since we had already traveled about 4 hours past Orange County we only had about 6 hours left of the drive.

I rented a Budget truck that was just perfect for the amount of stuff I had. David's family and some friends from the ward were so generous and helpful in getting it packed. Overall the weekend worked out really well. I had pretty much planned it down to the minute so I wouldn't have to stress about anything. It was so great.

We arrived Monday afternoon around 1:30 but the guys that were supposed to help unload the heavy stuff from the truck weren't scheduled to arrive until 3. If you know me, you know I like to show that I can do things that even the strong men can do. So I unloaded everything but the couch, bed, and table. I wish I had a picture to show how much stuff was in there. When the guys came, they saw what was left and laughed at how easy and fast it was for them. To that I say "anything you can do I can do better" (to some extent).

Here is a video of me driving up to my sister's house. Lia was so excited for us to come. You will notice there is a pause; that is me telling my mom to get out of the truck and help me back up. Thank goodness there isn't a video of me backing up because that would probably be very embarrassing.
